Words are funny things

Words are funny things.

It takes years to know the right person to say it to.

It takes months to find the right time to say them.

It takes days to find the right place to say it.

And it only takes a moment to finally say them.

But still, they might not come out right.

I struggle every day to find the right words to express my happiness, my joy, my pain, my disappointment. And everything else in between.

Words are powerful.

But the thing is, we can't just say the words and expect that the world will magically be all right.

Words are better than silence.

Especially in this world where no one will ask you to speak up. You have to stand up for yourself most of the time in this single-player journey. And when you do, make your words matter. They will attach a hundred and one meanings to your silence anyway.

Make your words funny. Make your words powerful.

But please... don't give them silence.
